Summary

Sharron Davies MBE is a former competitive swimmer who represented Great Britain in three Olympic Games. In 1980 she famously lost out on a gold medal, placing second to a doped East German competitor. She has recently released a book, ‘Unfair Play: The Battle For Women's Sport’, partly as a response to the impact of trans identifying males competing in women’s sports.

0:00.0	At TFL, we're making journeys safer for everyone, and that includes improving safety on London's roads.
0:07.4	That's why we and London boroughs are lowering more speed limits to 20 miles per hour,

0:54.9	which are mix-axe. And I've lost count of the number of parents I've contacted me with their,
0:59.3	you know, 11-year-old daughter who's come back from sports day and said not a single little girl
1:03.2	won a race today. Do you sometimes pinch yourself? Yeah, all the time. Every day I wake up and go,
1:11.3	how are we here? How has this happened? We turn around and say that we have to pretend somebody is
1:17.3	a woman, then what's next? You know, are people going to say that they're 10-years-old or 10-years
1:22.1	younger? There's got to be reality and truth. I worry terribly about free press and free speech.
1:29.4	You know, if we lose free speech, we lose democracy.
1:41.6	Hey, for artists, do you think financial platforms should be a political and not
1:45.6	cancel people just because they don't agree with their politics? I'll never forgive what those
1:49.8	absolute ** ** tied bank did to us. Now, for artists, we don't know if our bank account was
1:56.2	canceled because of our politics. Give me five minutes in a room with them and I'll find out
