When Ollie Behman made his surprise Formula One debut in Saudi Arabia, he knew he had to deliver.

I knew that it was going to be the most important weekend of my life and actually just

before getting in the car for the race my manager he didn't tell me good luck he didn't say

you know have fun he was like these next two hours are the most important two hours of your life.

And I was like, thanks a lot.

Thanks for that.

I did not mean you to tell me that.

But Ollie thrived under that pressure and he seized his opportunity

with a phenomenal points finish for Ferrari in Jeddah.

Now he's been rewarded with a full-time seat at Haas for 2025 and beyond.

When I was 5-6, I said I wanted to be in F1 and everyone was like, yeah, good luck.

But when I was 15-16, becoming part of the Academy,

it wasn't a dream anymore because it was in touching distance. I knew that if I performed and if I did what I needed to I could actually get that.

But my dream is not just to get to F1. I want to have longevity in F1 and stay here for as long as possible.

The British teenager sparkled on the streets of Jedda

when he replaced Carlos Saints and became the third youngest debut in Formula One history.

Despite having only the one practice session prior to the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix,

Behrman fought off late pressure from Lando Norris and

Louis Hamilton to claim an eye-catching seventh place that triggered a frenzy around his future.

So what was it like being thrown in at the deep end?
