Summary
It seems like the “Don’t Worry Darling” drama may never truly go away. Ever since production started on the movie, the rumor-mill has been working overtime. From stories about an alleged feud between director Olivia Wilde and the movie’s lead, Florence Pugh, to Spit-Gate with stars Harry Styles and Chris Pine, there’s been no shortage of drama. But in a new interview with Elle, Olivia is opening up about the film’s juicy press coverage, which she says is a result of Hollywood’s pervasive double-standard for women. Even though we may love the DWD tea, Olivia says this is something we don’t see with male directors. Is this just more evidence of sexism in the world of entertainment?
