I'm just gonna start by confessing

something that many of you already know,

which is that I'm an idiot.

I've been a frequent assessor of this state of the media. I think we need an

entity that is fair and bold and firm and unrelenting. We need a societal referee that speaks truth to power and asks tough questions of those

entrusted with power. I really honestly believe we need that and we don't have to like the

media, but we should be able to respect the media.

And because I have not seen that with the frequency or the regularity that I would like,

I have been an observant, shall we say, about the state of the media. So it makes sense, of course, for me to have on a reporter that I don't like and then argue for 30 minutes that would

prove my point and conflict cells and y'all would probably, I don't know know it's hard to hear when two people are

yelling at the same time but who knows there seems to be a big market for that I
