Brad, my friend, Old Miss Football is number six in the college football playoff final rankings.

They will host 11 seed two lane in the first round on December 20th.

Your reaction is we get started here after the college football playoff rankings or a playoff bracket, I should say, have officially been released. Here, I showed up on your screen. There's the bracket. Brad, what do you think of it? Well, I think everybody kind of anticipated that Tulane would be returning to Oxford. We had a media availability at around 1130 this morning with John Summerall, and we'll get into that

just a little bit.

I don't think anybody's surprised by that.

I did see some matchups earlier that it possibly could be Ole Miss against Ohio State in

either the cotton or the Orange Bowl.

It appears now that Ole Miss will match up against Georgia in the Sugar Bowl.

And should Ole Miss win, which in fact, they're a 17 and a half point favorite right now,

according to Fan Duel, they would match up against Georgia in New Orleans.

And I can't imagine how much fun that would be.

But obviously, there is a huge, huge opportunity in a challenge ahead with John Somerall,

who's got one foot out the door.

But judging by what I heard today, Ben, I do not anticipate Tulane to be coming in without

anything in mind other than playing Georgia the following week in New Orleans.

They talked about how that would be a challenge, but basically John's words, not mine,

said that they played horrible against Ole Miss, did not coach well, did not play well, and so we'll have an opportunity to see what John Summerall and Tulane has in store.

We watched them in the American Championship game, a game in which they won, and won fairly handily down in New Orleans and at Uolman Stadium.

But I think for Ole Miss fans, you know, I think if they had their druthers, they would have liked to have had James Madison, other than Tulane, just because they've had on before.

But this is a site that this fan base has never seen before.

And this is an opportunity to do something that, you know, I had a conversation with someone that has followed Old Miss football for a long time last night as someone that is very involved with Ole Miss football, I should say.
