How can it be our father that your son would die for me or for any of us? For a good man, some would dare to die, but Christ proved his love toward us and that

while we were yet sinners, he died for us. Our focus is on him for these moments. Thank you that our friends

take him the Savior with them as they travel abroad. Thank you that nothing of Christ

is lost by having given himself to them as he is just as much with us, with those laid aside by illness, as he is

also with those who are wayward and running as fast as they can in the wrong direction.

Thank you for our Savior's faithfulness in caring for us and for the prodigal with the same kind of love.

What a beautiful savior, Lord of Creation, son of God and son of man.

And to him we recommit ourselves and to the work of ministry that we give our gifts
