So this week we are breaking down the 2003 Korean film Old Boy

directed by Park Chan Wook, and this is a really special movie to me.

I've seen it many, many times, but as always, let's go around the room and first of all, just want to say before we actually get first

impressions spoiler fucking alert if you haven't seen the movie go see the movie

then come back and listen to this because we are going to ruin the shit out of it and this is one of those movies that you don't want to have spoiled for you.

So let's get some first impressions. Let's start with Ryan.

Well, damn, what is there not to say?

A-plus-plus-plus, best revenge movie ever made.

Park Chan Wook is a goddamn maestro of film, audio, visual,

everything, cinema.

He's the man. Yeah, I'm sure we'll break this down in detail, but I mean I can't say enough amazing things of this movie. Classic of the 21st century.

How was it like, you know, I always asked this question and sometimes you guys don't remember what it was like to watch it for your first time,

but I do feel like since this is so dependent on a dramatic twist at the end,
