Summary

Vicky Gomersall is joined by The Mirror's Darren Lewis and Sky Sports News reporter Melissa Reddy to reflect on the weekend’s sporting action.

We begin by looking at Manchester United, and news of government backing for an Old Trafford regeneration project; Darren explains plans for a 100,000 seater super stadium.

Next to the title race.  Arsenal were victorious at Wolves but Michael Oliver made himself the star of the show, after giving Myles Lewis-Skelly a controversial red card in the first half.  Melissa believes it should have been a yellow card, and sees Arteta’s furious reaction as a buildup of bad decisions against Arsenal this season.  Meanwhile, Melissa is impressed that Liverpool continue their relentless winning ways, and believes they’ll be hard to catch, despite a new manager and three of their biggest players out of contract in the summer.

Finally, we look at Manchester City, who are back in a winning groove after beating Chelsea 3-1.  Darren looks at Khusanov and Marmoush’s contrasting debuts, arguing that players need time to settle.
