An entitled old man blocks traffic and refuses to move up his car so that I can properly get out and go to my job.

But after waiting and honking our horn for several minutes, things escalate to the point where this old man gets out of his car and backhands me in the face

supposedly because I don't respect elderly people. Here's what happened. So this happened to my partner and I

in the spring of last year and the security guards at my place of work still giggle about it to this day.

So I'm a cleaner for a mall, and there is nowhere to safely park for me to get out when he is dropping me off to work in the

afternoons except for this one set of doors which is super convenient for me

because it's the closest entrance to the security office where I have to sign out

my keys which also leads to the area that I work in but it also happens to be the sketchiest entrance for the whole building

The area to park is just a little pull-in loading zone that's about six car links long.

Most of the time is full of cars, so my partner gets over as close as he can

and throws his four ways on so I can quickly get out and go inside.

Well, this day in particular, a transport truck

that I assume was making a delivery to one of the restaurants inside

decided he was going to park there

instead of going to the loading dock in the underground parking.

As we were driving up to pull in ahead of the transport,

the car in front of us pulls in.

But instead of pulling up all the way,

they parked right in the middle, making a space large enough for three small cars taken up by his Honda Civic.

So at first my partner just sighs and stops behind the transport to let me out.

But the traffic was very heavy that day, so he had to pull over so close to the running
