Tennessee football has received some good news on this Tuesday evening.

I'm Ben McKee and I'm joined by Ryan Callahan and

Mr. Callahan our recruiting expert at Govalls 24-7. He is going to

inform us about the good news and why it is good news.

So Mr. Callahan, why are we having this conversation?

Yeah, Tennessee has picked up another commitment

for the 2025 class, this time landing offensive linemen Anthony Cade O'Gumaro.

He is currently at Elgin High School in Oklahoma.

Previously played at White Oak High School in Jacksonville, Florida.

He's from a military family and has lived sort of all over.

So he doesn't really have deep, deep roots in Oklahoma or anything like that, but had been in North Carolina back when Tennessee offered him during the fall in November, right around the time he moved to Oklahoma actually Tennessee offered and that was his first SEC offer at the time and you know kind of from that point forward Tennessee was

pretty clearly one of his top choices throughout the process and they got him on

campus for the first time and in early February he made it for that that first

junior day of the year and then came back on his official visit the first weekend in May, kind of

wrapping up his series of official visits during the month of May because he's

going on a month-long trip back home to the islands over in the Pacific with his family and spending the month of June there.

So I wanted to go ahead and get his commitment out of the way before that trip and picks Tennessee.

It is essentially came down to Tennessee, Oklahoma, and North Carolina.

Those were the three schools in the end that that really had his attention all the way to the end
