Taken away early last Thursday morning after federal agents went to North Harbor Dairy in the town of Houndsfield. Gaffney calls

it distressing. This is not about politics to us. This is about kids. This March, ICE agents,

that stands for immigration and customs enforcement, we're looking for a man from South Africa,

who is facing federal charges. After they arrested him, they continued

to knock on doors in the area, without a warrant, and ended up detaining seven other immigrants,

including a mom and her three kids. The family was trying to navigate the immigration system

in the right way, attending their immigration hearings.

But that didn't matter.

The mom and her kids, including a third grader, were arrested and shipped off to the Carnes County detention facility in Texas, almost 2,000 miles away.

Trump did promise to crack down on immigration during his presidential campaign,

but he claimed he was talking about criminals.

And on day one, I will launch the largest deportation program of criminals in American history.

We're going to get them out.

So why are they arresting children?

And why do half of the adults held in ICE detention centers have no criminal record?

The Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency was started in 2003 by President George W. Bush.

This isn't an agency with a long and storied history in this country.

It's barely over 20 years old.
