On Wednesday, U.S US President Donald Trump addressed the nation. It was a much anticipated speech, with US broadcasters interrupting their normal schedules

to make space for it.

Most were expecting the address to contain some news.

After all, that's what they're normally for, an occasion where the

president calms the public's nerves while making a big announcement. That was not the case last night,

however, with Trump turning it instead into an occasion to bluff and grandstand.

As we speak this evening, it's been just one month since the United States military began

operation,
