Good afternoon fellow investors and welcome back to Invest Talk.

This is our Thursday, September 12, 2024 edition, and we are winding down the months of summer

and markets remain relatively volatile.

You know, volatility happens in both directions and we've had a very choppy period as of late,

which is typical from a seasonal perspective, but you know that's minor compared to the broader backdrop of

liquidity economic growth etc and that's why it's always important to, you pay attention to these, I don't say anomalies,

but these minor impacts on the broader economy and asset prices.

And you have to focus really on what matters most in the short to medium term, which is from

a macro perspective perspective understanding where money creation is happening

whether it's at the government level whether that's at the bank level is that

ebbing or is it flowing right now? It continues to flow right so

that's a that's an important backdrop and then from a micro level looking at the

individual companies finding the best in the business, right, and the best in the particular sectors.

What are the quality names, not just the ones that pay the highest dividend or the one you read an article about or one your cousin told you about.

No, that's not what this is about.

It's not good investing habits.

You know, the good investing habits has to do with investing in quality

assets, quality businesses, okay? And that is we are, what are, we are here to
