Welcome back to the post spring game. Guy talk here. We get the greenery,

Nathan Beard, Steven Means, Steven and Nathan back from Ohio Stadium, me on my couch eating

sour skittles. And we're going to talk about what happened in the Ohio State

spring game. We each focused on an area. It's hard to watch a lot of stuff at once,

especially it's hard to watch stuff and write stuff down. Even though I they

should have a class in that in journalism school, the watch stuff and write

stuff down class hard to do out of practice. So Nathan watched the quarterbacks,

Steven watched the rest of the offense and I watched the defense. So we'll run

through the podcast like that. And so Nathan, I guess we'll begin with the idea

that you have declared CJ Straub and starting quarterback for the Ohio State

book guys. Ryan Day has not. Ryan Day has not. But I actually didn't have time

to read your story, but I didn't see the headline and I believe the headline was

I declare CJ Stroud Ohio State starting quarterback why the actual headline was

more like why the spring game showed that CJ Stroud is leading the quarterback

battle. And I think we all knew that coming in though. We thought that coming in,

right? This is all about trying to gather more data that either affirms or

disputes what we believe. And we thought CJ Stroud ended last season ahead of

Jack Miller. We thought CJ Stroud started the spring in the best position to

end up being the starter. And I thought today with his performance, there's

enough. He just looked the crispest. Is that a word? Look, the most crisp, he

looked the most sharp. I thought there was, there was a, a poise there. And also
