Welcome back to your Monday Bug Guys Talk, it's Doug Lieberace, Nathan Baird.

We usually do on Mondays here and we're going to chill out a little bit.

I am in the process of rewatching every single play of the game and grading like it good and bad and what went wrong and what Michigan.

I'm doing the high state offense first, like what defense Michigan played and did the play call get beat or was it something individually that happened and so like,

you know, we're going to digest all of this stuff, but we're going to take a step back a little bit Nathan because there are two things I think that we want to discuss and we always try to put Ohio State in a national context on this Monday episode.

And the national context is different than the rivalry context and this is the fascinating thing about the Ohio State Michigan game at this point that the national view of it is, I think.

It's a vastly different lens than the local view of it, which is you've got to beat your rival, you can't lose the game, oh my gosh, this is a catastrophe.

There's the point of, okay, well Michigan is on, they are definitely in the playoff winner lose are going to play Purdue and Indianapolis on Saturday.

And even if somehow Purdue springs the upset Michigan as one of the three remaining undefeated teams would be in regardless Ohio State is in the mix for the playoff.

We're going to talk about that. We're going to talk about the surprise hiring of Luke fickle at Wisconsin in conjunction with the hiring of Matt rule at Nebraska, kind of where we are in the big 10 and then we'll do what you're watching what you eat and what you thinking at the end.

But first off, Nathan, you think about these things because you cast an AP ballot every week.

Do you believe as we sit here in a world where there are three undefeated teams with Georgia, Michigan and TCU.

TCU is playing Kansas State. Michigan is playing Purdue, Georgia is playing LSU.

Not good games, not good opponents, not conference championship level matchups for those.

I mean LSU just lost a Texas A&M. Purdue is fine.

Kansas State is the best of the bunch and actually TCU has been very much on the idea if he thinks Kansas State is going to beat TCU.

But Nathan, first of all, do you think that those three currently undefeated teams are in the playoff win or lose?

This year, yes, I think they are. I mean, especially in the case of Georgia, they've been the number one team this whole time.

I know that LSU just took another loss to a team that is very good.

But I don't think that's going to bump them all the way from like one to five.

And I think they probably still will be one on Tuesday.
