Welcome back to a Tuesday bucket. I talk through the means Andrew Gillis. It's time to talk recruiting and

we're coming off the bat here with some recruiting news. This is something the first time we've had news. Just break as we're not as we're recording the

pop on the same day that we're recording this pod Monday morning Ohio States 2025 class got their second edition. Andrew for people who haven't heard yet.

Who is what who's a new future book?

Javin Boggs of Coco Florida. He committed to Ohio State this morning and this morning being Monday morning as we record this.

So he recruit or he commits on on Monday. He is the number 368 player in the country. He is a composite three star number 50 receiver in the

country. Number 55 player in Florida. Stephen and I were kind of joking a little bit offline to break the fourth wall for you guys that we don't think he's going to be a

three star for very long and we don't think he's going to be at number 368 for very long. So, you know, he's obviously a pretty talented kid.

He held a pretty decent share of offers. Obviously Ohio State was interested in him, but Colorado offered him Florida, Florida offered him Ole Miss Penn State UCF, USF.

Like you get a lot of those schools down there that offered him, but Ohio State was early on him. You know, they got in on the ground floor, which I think was important.

You know, I notice I didn't say Texas. Notice I didn't say Alabama. Notice I didn't say Georgia. Notice I didn't say any of those schools down there.

Ohio State, I think, did a good job in terms of getting him early, getting him to a point where, you know, what we have this kid that we really like.

And we're just going to go forward with it. So, you know, I mean, you look at kind of where he is just physically. I mean, he's six feet tall, 188 pounds. That's what he's listed at.

So, you're talking about a player who probably is fit a little bit better for the slot than on the outside. You know, you just kind of by body type, especially with, you know, some of the receivers that they're going to be bringing in over these next couple of years.

You know, obviously Chris Henry Jr. He's a he's a big boy. You think he's six foot six. And he's in the 2026 class. He's obviously really, really highly regarded player.

You got two five stars coming in the 24 class Jeremiah Smith, my own Graham, Jeremiah McClellan's in there. So when it comes to bogs, I think Ohio State got, you know, pretty shifty kid, a really athletic kid and a kid that fans are going to be pretty happy with.

Because I think when you just look at the explosiveness, obviously watching his tape and watching his huddle and everything like that.

You know, you're obviously impressed.

So there's some Jackson Smith comparison here. You brought up the fact that you build for the slot.

And he brought up the fact that this he might not be at that three star rating rating for long. Nathan, I actually did a pot on this maybe two years ago.

I think yeah, like two years ago where we talked about Ohio State has this tendency sometimes to unintentionally set the recruiting rankings nationally, because a lot of stuff goes into why players ranked and where he's ranked.
