Flying Solo for this one. We're going to do an all recruiting

podcast normally on Wednesdays. It's myself, Doug Lee-Marie and Tim

Bielick talking about the Buckeyes, mostly fast food, a little bit of football sprinkled in. We will get back to

talking with some more team stuff as we get closer to the Cotton Bowl against

USC on December 29th, but wanted to do a recruiting kind of mailbag

podcast. I got a lot of questions on really Thursday night, Wednesday night

and Thursday night Ohio State picked up two commitments, one from four-star

defensive back Tyreich Johnson, another from three-star quarterback Matthew Baldwin,

and then of course lost a commitment from five-star defensive and Brenton Cox.

So it's been an eventful week for Ohio State and recruiting.

We are coming up on the December 20th early signing period.

December 20th to December 22nd is when players can sign.

They can also sign on the normal window that begins in February.

But this early signing period is speeding things up, changing, think the way December recruiting roles,

so a lot has been happening,

especially as it pertains to Ohio State in the last few days

and I suspect that'll be the case up up until the 20th and

through probably the 22nd and it'll slow down a little bit again as we

gear up and get into January and then February for the regular signing day.
