Can I ask you to unpack your recently stated theory that the Dallas Cowboys are America's royal family?

Sure.

I think I've talked about this on this show before, but that would require me remember what I've talked about on this show before.

I think I can't do.

Yeah, I think in the same way that the royal family occupies a certain amount of the collective

brain space in the United Kingdom, where all of their goings on and squabbles and bad behavior and all of it is like constantly in the public press,

constantly is something to be discussed and not just discussed, but like fascinated upon.

And you have people who are like really into the royal family, even though this is, it's not, you know, it's not the 16th century and it's

like, oh, well, the king is important because he does these things and that's important for

what, like, they have no formal sort of like governing role at this point. I think the Dallas

Cowboys occupy the same space in American society.

They're not important. We're not sitting here being like, oh, here come the Cowboys, ready to

roll through the playoffs again, better look out. They have no governing power. They have no governing

power. As opposed to earlier times, yeah. But they are, you know, as we, this is, this is why it came up before because we talked

about how ESPN is always talking about the Cowboys because ESPN is like people want to

hear about the Cowboys.

We're not just sort of peddling that narrative because we want to talk about the Cowboys.

That's the thing that I've brought up before.

That's the problem is that they do this.

They do the Cowboys segments because of ratings.

They wouldn't, like, I compare this.
