Welcome back to Buckeye Talk, I'm Stephen Means. That's Nathan Barrett and we're joined by a rivalry reporter slash columnist Jimmy Watkins Andrew will join us later this week, but it's Michigan week.

We started this last year, six months out

from the rivalry game in November.

We wanted to check in on the rivalry see where things were see where things

stand and when we did it a year ago Nathan it was just like a normal conversation

about rivalry games because at that point we didn't know about the sign stealing stuff which created a whole new conversation

by the time we were going to actually talk about the game in the fall this time we know all that

Jimmy but also there's the extra information here of Jim Hartball's no longer here

for entering the world of a 12-team playoff era Nathan this thing we've been talking about

for years of hey what if you lose the Michigan but win a national title how would you feel about that type of stuff

well we're here now you can literally lose the rivalry game and still win a national title
