Welcome back to your post-game book. I talk one game in the book of high estate. Victoria Sovereign Notre Dame,

21 to what 10? Yeah, that was it. How could I not know the score Nathan? There weren't that many

points. So high estate wins. We're going to talk about the defense. We're going to talk about that first.

Then we're going to talk about the offense and then we're going to talk about how this compares

nationally because that really matters and we're constantly trying to put the book guys in context

and you have to do that on a day like this even though I think it's kind of difficult.

You're kind of in a weird spot and guys I said after the game like games like this are just a little

weird because they certainly didn't play that well on one side of the ball. The other side of the

ball they played pretty darn well. They beat a top five team but they really weren't a position

to almost lose and then they all come in afterwards and say we were tough when we fought but for

three quarters of the game you felt like I don't know if they're going to win when they have more

talent. So Nathan I you know it's not about us it's just about for fans trying to wrap your head

around this and we're going to jump right into the defense and how good that defense was.

Is it hard to get a handle on this or how do you think the vibe should be? A little bit we were

talking about this on our way back up from the field after the game that a lot of the conversation

around college football in general and we we had fed it was that there was three teams

are out ahead of everybody else and then like another tier of teams behind that and that's where

Notre Dame was you could throw some other teams in their Clemson Michigan handful of other teams

and but that the top three had separated or we're going to separate and everybody else was playing

for that fourth spot and I don't think I feel that way after this game. Steven is that fair?

Did you agree with that? I don't know if I agree with that. I understand where the sentiment is
