He's going to be just fine. It's going to be hard not putting them at number one in the country.

After that, Carson Beck looked like the guy we saw a couple of years ago. But what happened to Alabama?

every one of those big matchups. I loved finding out about these teams because, as you know,

in this industry, let me just give you a peek behind the curtain, the toughest thing to do,

in particular in modern college football, is to have any real good idea about what these

teams are going to be from a season to the next. And you can see that come to fruition as these games unfold.

And we're starting to see these teams with all these new faces and more specifically at the

quarterback position and all these questions that we had during the course of the offseason.

And what are the answers going to be to those questions?

So it's insanely hard to evaluate these teams with any amount of accuracy in the

offseason, which is why I love week one so much because now we have tangible evidence. We can see it.
