Our first food heist of the new year.

Oh my goodness.

There's actually two huge bits of food heist news.

Oh.

There's a happy one and a sad one.

Well.

I will save the sad one for next episode.

Okay. So everyone prepare yourselves emotionally

to be saddened. Okay. All right. But the good news is there was a huge heist that was reported

on Christmas Day. Okay. And approximately seven billion of our planet's 8 billion people sent it to me.

So I'm not going to be able to read a list of names, but I was overjoyed to get a constant string of emails.

And then I got into the office yesterday, and the people that field corporate emails said that they had also received a constant barrage of them.

So everyone, don't worry, we're finally going to talk about the lobster heist.

Yeah.

Well, well, well.

$400,000 worth of live lobsters, which, estimating by market price is somewhere between 15,000 and

20,000 actual lobsters, were stolen on shipment to Costco stores. Okay. These were being sent to

some kind of Midwest Costco hub, where they would be then, you know, shipped out to different Costco's all over the Midwest.

And unfortunately, as we are seeing all the time, somebody spoofed credentials and drove up with a truck and took off with them and they're gone forever now. And the robster has robbed some lobsters.
