It's hard to capture or explain.

So I think we're going to play a large portion

of it later in the program today. The new Canadian Prime Minister, Mark Carney, meeting with

Donald Trump in the Oval Office. Now, he had two very big constituencies that he had to appeal to here.

And one constituency would be Canada that just elected him, and he ran on a very anti-Trump platform.

And the other has to be Canada needs, and this is the strength that President Trump understands that we have as a country.

Canada needs the relationship with the United States to be good, healthy, and strong.

Now, the good news is that came out of that meeting and they both recognize that, as the

president said repeatedly, we're having friendly conversations

and we're we're going to be friends and we're going to get along and we're going going to come

we're going to get a deal uh but then the president was also firm about saying but i'm going to be

very blunt we don't want Canadian cars or aluminum or steel when we don't really need their lumber.

Even their energy, he went on to say.

On the other hand, Carney, it was a pretty funny exchange.
