Ah, here goes, Ovia's doing the ACC coach of the year really is about an apology without saying

we're sorry. We're not going to tell you, hey, man, we thought you sucked or we thought you

were going to suck. So here's your coach of the year. It's kind of implied at this point when it comes to a lot of ACC coach of the year voting, both in football and in basketball. No, I'm going to give man ad as the ACC coach of the year, not because Duke is six and one and bowl eligible and kind of turning Duke football into a turnkey operation, unlike the other two programs in the triangle, apparently.

Who knew? You can get some new coaches in there to just keep that thing rolling over in Durham,

right? No, the reason why I'm going to give many ideas the coach the year is because he looked

at Florida State. And on Friday night, he went, you know what? I'm just going to let them fuck up.

And if we let them screw around and we just don't do anything stupid, we're going to

walk out of there with a win.

That was, if you look at the stats, it's a highly unimpressive Duke victory.

But that actually hides the fact that Manny Diaz went in that game going,

nah, Florida State's offense is so terrible, so messed up that we're just going to go ahead

and let this thing cook and we're going to walk out of there with a win.

And that's exactly what they did on Friday night to 6 and 1, Joe.

Yeah, a couple of things.

This is the fourth time since 1960 that Duke has started a season at six and one.

That's notable.

That is right.

Cutcliffe did it twice, surprisingly, not the year that they won the division, rather in 14 and then again in 15.
