Welcome in to another episode of pushing the pile.

I'm your host, J.P. Acosta. Mike currently isn't here, but I got my guy, Emory Hunt, in here.

We're going to talk about offseason grades for every NFL team. We're going to go division by division. And we're going to see what we think of how their entire offseason is gone. I'll start with the NFC East. And we're going to have the grades up. And we're going to go through team by team. I had the Philadelphia Eagles with a B, the Dallas Cowboys

with a B plus, the New York Giants with a B, and Washington Commanders with an A-minus. I thought

commanders had a really good offseason despite sort of some of their coaching being sort of

influx with David Blow becoming the offensive coordinator. But I love what they've done on the defensive side of the ball going out and signing a dafe o way going on signing leo shinal to the deal they did going on getting ameke robertson to play in the secondary and then adding a guy like sunny styles in the middle of that defense they added klylavan chison to be another additional pass rusher but I really loved what they did on defense to sort of maximize and make that group a lot

younger and a lot faster.

Emery, I'm curious on who you think had the best offseason of any team in the NFC East.

Well, it's hard to disagree with what you put up there.

But I will say the Giants I felt like had one of the better all seasons. You got John Harbaugh coming in, and you already see the culture kind of shifting. I'll be able to get out there to practice this weekend for rookie minicamp. And I just like the fact that they brought in a couple of Cornerstone Raven players. You bring in Ricard. You bring in Isaiah Likely. You also bring inairus Washington, and they had a fantastic draft, I thought, you know, getting eight plus players across the board. So, you know, this is a very good all season for the Giants. I feel like, you know, at Harbaugh, he's going to help improve their situational football. It's going to help improve them on special teams where they suck the last three to four years.

And that's going to net them at least three games in that department.

So overall, you know, when you're bringing an R.V.L. Reese, who could play off ball linebacker to go along with Abdul Carter, to go along with Kvon, Tibuto, and Brian Burns and Tremaine Edmins.

This is a very good front.

And he just signed DJ Reader as well.

So they are looking outstanding on defense. Francis Maui Noah, I think, gives them a guard and or tackle. Whichever one they choose is going to be the right decision because he's a fantastic player. So I thought the Giants did a fantastic job. And I think the Giants for me, the reason I have met a B is I think the defense is probably

going to be really good. I said that last year about this team, but I think they are so long

and athletic on that side of the ball, especially at the second level. You add a guy like Arvel

Reese to Tremaine Edmonds and you have a potentially terrifying group to throw the ball against

over the middle of the field.

I think they're secondary starting to come along really well.

I think my biggest questions that I have about this group is with the offensive coordinator and a play calling.

I feel like they have Greg Roman as the run game coordinator.
