That being said, that performance yesterday by the refs was atrocious.

I mean, that sequence right there was absolutely brutal.

And I'll say this, by the way, let's say you decide that, and we'll get

into the explanation of why they decided to pick up the flag there on that late hit with Mack

Jones on the sideline. Let's say you decide to pick up that flag. That's fine. To then compound the

mistake or that decision by then throwing the flag on Trent Brown,

when all he's doing is chirping at the other team there, I thought was absolutely ridiculous.

And then in the second half, Mack Jones, the late hit on Mac Jones, where they keep the flag,

and then they throw another flag on David Andrews on top of that.

It wasn't even more ridiculous.

Just refs that were totally out of control of what was going on with the game.

I thought it was an embarrassing performance, quite honestly, with the refs.

Yeah, so the Patriots lost the game because they didn't play well and the officiating was poor.

Can both be true.

And by the way, they missed some calls the other way too.

And obviously in that first game, they weren't great.

This is just, this is kind of what sports talk radio is in 2021 where you have to dedicate

a segment on Monday morning

to the officials blunders from the day before just so happens that they occurred

pretty prominently against the local team this week but you can't look they pick up the flag
