and dramatic warnings from China today after sources confirmed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi

will visit Taiwan during her trip to Asia.

The stop was not listed on Pelosi's public itinerary when she landed in Singapore this

morning, but if she makes the trip, she would be the first House Speaker in 25 years

to visit Taiwan.

And this morning, Chinese officials warned against the, quote, egregious political impact

of a trip to the self-governing island.
