Welcome to a very special edition of office hours. I'm here with my

dear, dear colleague, brother Cornell West, and we are having a special episode on the Kenosha

situation in Wisconsin and the brutal shooting of Jacob Blake and all that's unfolded and the political consequences of it.

So, Doc, how are you? How are you feeling?

I tell you, though, you know, we get down and out when you see these vicious forms of white supremacy running amok with impunity and no accountability.

But this is the 57th anniversary of the death of the great W.B. Du Bois.

When he wrote 1903, the problem, the 20th century is the problem of the color line.

Of course, he would add labor.

He would add gender.

He would add empire.

But we still see it at work here in Wisconsin.

And thank God we've got this marvelous resistance taking place in the sites of sports across

the board now, beginning with the Milwaukee team and with brother LeBron James, we salute them.

But here we are again, though, says Trisha, you know what I mean?
