This is the time we're going to get Donald Trump. Where most voters are looking at

this and saying, you know, we need to get our country back on track energy independence the homeless

out of our cities

And so that's what people are saying, and yet I think if people had spent a fraction of

time that they spent obsessing over Trump on understanding the Trump voter, then they may be competitive for Biden, but they're not.

On the other hand, she was mostly right in that statement

uh... i think you can be concerned about all of those things and still not

think don't think Donald Trump is necessarily the best guy to get it done

uh... having said that i think she characterized a lot of what Jack and I were talking about last hour,

which is the fact that Americans see reality around them every day at home and at work on their screens.

Then they see that reality and hear that reality distorted through the loudest voices in our society that of the media and

entertainment complex in education and not just distorted I mean because the

dishonesty and and inaccuracy is enough. But it's easy to see that it's being

distorted in a way that serves their purposes and at the cost of the

average person. And so yeah there's an enormous amount of resentment that's

built up and it seems clear to us that Trump is just clearly the guy who is
