We met with head coach Ryan Day, of course, yesterday. We're going to get to some of the highlights about that. First thing, Steve, it feels like to me, I'm curious here your take on this. We have Patrick's take as well. that this offense, while not putting up, like, gaudy, like, total yardage numbers, it just feels like they could if they needed to.

You know, this defense has been so good. Do you feel like the offense has been holding something back, and maybe this week we'll see them just unleashed for the first time against a power four opponent? You know, that's a really good question, and I think that was something I was going to ask Ryan Day yesterday. I'm going to try and ask it today. The game started at Washington,

and it just felt like they had not taken all of the wraps off of Julian Sane, and they didn't want him to throw a bad pick in Washington territory and have the

crowd get into the game. They kind of eased him into the moment. And the two halves were just

completely different when you look at how things went in the first half. And then he came out

on the first drive of the second half and he completed eight of nine passes for 62 of the 75 yards that they went on that touchdown drive.

To me, that just showed you that they do have confidence in him, and he's earned their trust.

And I think that you're going to see more put on his plate as they go along.

I don't think it's an issue, obviously, this week at home against Minnesota. You have the

home crowd there. In Minnesota, again, defensively, we'll have to check them out and see what

they really bring to the table. But certainly when they go on the road next week at Illinois,

it'll be a hostile environment, sold out crowd there at Memorial Stadium.

And you hope that from the jump that they trust him to make plays,

because I think he's earned that right, no doubt.
