So two things you guys may not know about me.

One, I do not like to shop for clothes.

And two, I have no sense of fashion.

In fact, my taste in clothes is so bad that I never go shopping without my friend Lisa,

who has excellent taste.

So if you guys ever see me out somewhere and you like what I'm wearing,

it's because Lisa picked it out for me.

Believe me.

Lisa loves to shop, but I'd rather stick a fork in my eyeball. That's dramatic.

Which is also why if you scroll through my Instagram account and see pictures of me speaking at

events, you'll find that I've worn the same four outfits, I kid you not, at every event for the past several years.

So Lisa was looking at my Instagram account, and she finally dragged me, kicking and screaming

to her favorite clothing store and pretty much exiled me to the dressing room because

everything I was pulling from the racks was apparently insanely tacky.

And that's pretty much our pattern.

We start out going through the racks together

with Lisa shooting down everything I hold up until she finally says, this is going to go a lot

faster if you'll just go wait in the dressing room. So that's what I do. So I'm in the dressing

room and I'm hurrying to try on everything she's bringing so that we can get out of there as soon as

possible because it's my least favorite thing in the whole world to do. And every now and then, Lisa would bring in a few things for her to try on.

So in the dressing room, we had one hook for my stuff and one hook for her stuff. Something else you may

not know about me is that I'm not an observant person at all. My mom teases me all the time because she'll get like new furniture or
