Well, hey, listeners, in this week's edition of why we're likely to get kicked out of our neighborhood,

I have a funny story to tell about my daughter, Avery. She just turned 13 and her new favorite activity. She's so fun. I love her.

Her favorite activity now is sitting at her bedroom window

which is at the front of our house

and playing solitaire

while she monitors the comings and goings in our neighborhood with a pair of binoculars.

Like she's on security detail, okay?

Well, several weeks ago I was sitting in our homeschool classroom clear on the opposite side

of the house and she came running in and was like mom

someone just drove their golf cart on the sidewalk in front of our house stopped

got out of it set something on the ground, and then drove off.

And I have to know what they put on the ground.

By the way, she's not as dramatic as I am, so she's going to hit it when she...

I was just like, Katie, Every's not quite that dramatic.

She sounds nothing like that.

She's very much less dramatic.

But anyway, that was the gist of it.

And like any responsible parent, I said, yeah, I need to know what that is to go get it.

So she did, she ran out the door.
