Today, I am speaking for the first time about this show that never fails to put me in awe

for lack of a better word, which is welcome to Plathville. And to talk about this with me is Brian

from Maff's version. Hi, Brian. How are you? Uncomfortable and disturbed by this show in general, but ready to talk about it.

I don't know. I keep talking about shows when they're very weird. I don't know what that says about you, not me. I'm perfect. I mean, you invite me on, talk about this. I watch all kinds of things, and you're like, ooh, it's a weird thing. It's Polly family. Let's get Brian on this one. Yes, I just, I don't, this show is so fascinating. I don't think I started from the beginning because I will say that I'm shocked when I was looking like, oh, what season is this? And it's season seven. But I know I don't think I've been watching it for that long, unless it was like one of those multiple seasons a year type situation. I don't think it was because, I mean, I, but it's confusing because I didn't watch in the very beginning because I, TLC shows, I'm like, okay, you've got the ones where it's like, you know, cringe watching your, I love a mama's boys and you're smothered. Then you have the ones where it's just like, oh, this is a wholesome family with a thousand kids, like doubling down

with the Dorikos and, well, the Duggers before the unfortunateness. And I'm just like, I don't

want to watch just like a quirky, happy family. That's just like a weird family.

Until I found out, oh, no, no,

like everything is falling apart and collapsing.

That's when I started watching.

So like, I think that would have been season three,

maybe, like when Ethan and Olivia got together.

I went back and watched the first couple of seasons

and then kind of got caught up. I don't know if it's been on a full seven years, but like maybe, because if you go back and look how young Ethan looked when the show first started, I mean, he was Jack McBrayer. And like, things have changed for him. He's Grizzly Adams now. So maybe it has been a full seven years. I don't really know. So I just did a quick look

up and they premiered 2019. Okay. Oh, okay. So five, six years. Yeah. Yeah. Okay.

About six years. So I think I did a binge watch. I have no recollection of starting, but I know I

probably didn't start the beginning. But for anyone who is new to this, let me give you a quick background.

The Plath family are a family of, I want to say 11.
