We're here today with SLR Honda's Talon LaFontaine. Before we jump into the interview, I wanted to give

Talon's YouTube a shout out. He's been starting a new vlog series that's been documented his

racing at the Works and GP series this year. Pretty cool. Go ahead and check it out at Tallinn

LaFontaine on YouTube. What's up, Talon? How are you, man? I'm doing good. I'm kicking back in

the middle of Utah right now. Yeah, you're up there for the Works race this weekend. Is it this

weekend? Yeah, we had a Grand Prix last weekend, NGPC is what they call it,

and then this weekend we got a works race and Cedar. That's cool. We'll dive in a little bit more

in that, but for those out there who aren't familiar with who you are, just give us a little

bio on yourself. Okay. Yeah, no problem. I'm, uh, I guess I'm a Southern California kid. I was born in St. George,

lived in Cedar when I was a kid, Cedar City, Utah. I didn't live there long enough. My parents and brothers

lived there longer than I did, but I was so young. Then we moved to Vegas for a year.

My brothers, my dad used to take us all to the Speedway where the world many used to be.

I was so young, though, like I was more just hanging out.

I'd ride a little bit.

And then we moved to Palm Desert, or Lakeita, down there, and moved to Beaumont. And and yeah, it's kind of bounced around everywhere.

But I'd say like I grew up mostly in Southern California.

And then my brothers raced.

I rode when I was younger and tried to race, but I just wasn't into it.

And I had an eyesight problem that kind of hindered me.

So didn't really race much, but I was always a fan and always kind of like a student of the

sport.
