First one we've done in some time. So it's good to be back. We are T-minus 23 days away from the

trade deadline. So a lot's going to happen with the NBA in that span should be pretty exciting.

Of course, the Knicks have already made a big trade this year, the largest one under this regime. And it's only fitting that it was not planned. Even with dear KFS subscriber, Matt Stacks, I mean, Fred Katz producing an article that came out today about Quentin Grimes that was not

coordinated by any stretch. So I'm glad, thank you to Fred for dropping a great article and

ushering in this conversation. So I'll use that as my one big thing. When I saw the article and the

report about Grimes potentially being traded and the Nix fielding offers.

You know, my first thought wasn't, oh my God, I can't believe they've traded him because

they have him. He's still in the team. They are fielding offers. And as usual, it's also about

what's coming back. So until we know that piece of it,

it's kind of hard to evaluate what a trade would be.

The thing that surprises me

isn't that the Knicks would be

trying to field offers for Quentin Grimes.

I mean, they do that for all of their players.

It's protocol.

They try to get an understanding

of where the league values these players.

It's not even the idea that Quentin Grimes wouldn't be on this team moving forward.

You don't have to study the salary cap or the books to an unhealthy degree to know that Jalen Brunson at some point is going to make a lot of money.
