Well I'll just talk about what I've been pondering over the last hour or so in my quiet time.

It's early in the morning and I was thinking of a talk that I'm going to be preparing about one of my very favorite verses, Psalm 27.

The Lord is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life.

Of whom shall I be afraid?

Another translation puts it. of whom shall I be afraid?

Another translation puts it,

the Lord is the stronghold of my life.

Of whom shall I be afraid?

That verse has sustained me and calmed and comforted me many times.

And I was thinking this morning of how God's strength meets us in our weakness.

God's light shines for us in our darkness.

You know that lovely little song,

Oh, glorious love, it begins with these words,

In my darkness, Jesus found me, touched my eyes, and made me see, threw

his loving arms around me.

And I can't remember the next line.

But oh, glorious love is what it's about.
