Here's acclaimed fly fishing author and lifelong fly fishing enthusiast Tom Rosenbauer.

This is a piece I wrote for American Angler and we're going to record this this

week. Tom Rosenberg is out so they've asked me to read this piece. It was about a

trip I took with some friends of mine up in

Idaho. These two girls that are really terrific anglers and I had a good time and we had quite an experience and so the

name of this story is of Blue Damsels and bamboo girls. They're not on their way to anywhere, but on rare occasion my travels

take me near enough. It's the domain of the bamboo girls who have tucked themselves

away in a Western valley looking toward the

sawtooth. If I'm lucky and they aren't off traveling the world in search of piscatorial

adventure, they take me in for a while.

Just out the door is an Eden of jagged peaks, lusty rivers, and broad-shouldered trout.

They can stand in a fertile sinewy free stone full of rainbows in minutes with endless wilderness and

sight. Their passion is living well and they succeed to an enviable level
