and he just appeared for the first time in the recent episode, Page from the Playbook.

Let's hear from Preston Butler III. I just love saying that.

Well, Preston, thanks so much for joining us on the show today.

Well, glad to be here. Thanks so much for interviewing me today.

You bet. Well, first I have to ask you about your name, Preston Butler III.

It sounds so royal. So what is the story behind your name?

So I have the same name as my father and grandfather.

Okay. You know, it was interesting. My dad almost didn't get the name of his dad,

but luckily he had two older brothers and they happen to be twins.

Oh, I guess I can't give the name to one and not the other.

Luckily, it went to my dad. You know, my dad loved it so much and wanted to carry on a tradition that he gave it to me.

And so, yeah, I'm the third. It gets a little tricky when we're all three of us are together.

Right. But luckily, my nickname is Trey because I was born in Panama and three is great in Spanish.

So they just dropped us and called me Trey. But yeah, a little bit of a tradition there.

Yeah. Nice. So does that ever get complicated?

Now that you're playing a character, his brother in the shows, his name is Trey and your Cooper.

Oh, you know, it is a little tricky because I, you know, I may be kind of looking.

I'm like, oh, wait, not me.
