Yeah, so we have a lot to cover today.

And I want to start by asking you, can you tell me a little bit about your new book?

So new books coming out on August 2nd.

It's going to be published by Dead Reckoning Collective.

And the book is called Odysseus in the Or, Healing After War and Military Service.

So it's a book I wrote, actually back in 2019, I wrote a much larger version that was initially for therapists,

and then went out and I started shopping for a publisher and got introduced to an editor.

And he suggested that, you know, I pair it down and do a veterans edition first.

And so that became this book.

And basically it's a look at the archetypal side of coming home for more.

And what I do is I evaluate the Odyssey, looking at the Odyssey through an archetypal lens

and considering all the symbolism in the myth and then compare that to the dreams of modern combat veterans,

including some of the dreams that I had in my own recovery.

So I'm a young Ian oriented therapist, licensed professional counselor,

and really passionate about working with images and dreams.

And ultimately, one of the things I noticed when I was reading The Odyssey
