Hello and welcome to Psychic Teacher's I'm your host Samantha Faye and I'm Deb Bowen and we hope that you all are having a great evening wherever you are listening to this. We hope you are safe and dry and have some power on and we thank you for having us in your ears right now.

We have just weathered quite the hurricane Deb and I we were safe our homes are safe but I have no cable and no Wi-Fi so feeling a little 18th century here.

I want to let everyone know if you're waiting on an email from me it might be a day or two until I get all of that back up and running. But Deb you're doing well right.

I am I I've lost part of an oak tree in my front yard that just breaks my heart but otherwise I am fine I just have what we hear in the South refer to as dibris everywhere.

But I would like to ask everybody to let's just take a couple of long flow deep breaths and just a moment of silence for the thousands and thousands of people who are not okay in this storm that is still raging now South Southern Virginia is under warnings.

So this storm has moved all the way from the Caribbean up the east coast and now heading to Virginia so and we we have three deaths in our areas of Anthony we might not know that they're three people and I'm in our neck of the woods who died yesterday.

Oh I did not know that.

Yeah so if we could just ask everybody to send out some nice thoughts for all the hurricane folks please.

Definitely.

And and I also there's we have a lot of listeners who are you know without who we have a listener in the Bahamas who's with them without power and have flooding so for all the people who are dealing with flooding.

We'd like to send you some good thoughts and good energy to Samantha you and I have a friend who lives on a river nearby whose whose house is up on piling so that the river is supposed to crest at 19 feet.

So she is aware that she will she's evacuated and she will come home to her house being an undated with river water.

Oh my gosh.

So a lot of flooding and a lot of stuff has gone on with this storm that wasn't predicted.

Don't get me started on meteorologist but anyway so you know there's a lot more to what happens with a hurricane than what you might think and what certainly what you don't see in the media.

We lost our power at seven o'clock last night which of course all day windows open sun you know not sun shining but the sun was up and we had power the minute the sun went down we lost power and of course my girls screamed you know freaking out how to give them all the little lanterns and got everyone settled.

And then today at three o'clock the power finally came back on and we were so excited.

And then we found out we didn't have cable or wifi and my one of my daughters goes what's the point of having power if you can't even go on the computer.

It's such a 21st century thing to say.

Yes it is.

I have a lot to talk about that too but let's not.

We have questions to answer tonight.
