closely following the race among Senate Republicans to succeed Mitch McConnell as leader. And one of the things we've been watching especially closely is how the Senate GOP's conservative

block would maneuver to advance their priorities on how the Senate should be run.

Well, last night we got a big hint.

Rachel scooped at Senator Mike Lee of Utah sent a letter to his colleagues laying out a bunch

of proposals or demands, if we're being

honest about it. There was less about policy and more about procedures for how the Senate Republicans

sure are. Also last night, Vice President Kamala Harris made her first appearance on 60 minutes since

becoming the Democratic presidential nominee.

And in an interview with CBS's Bill Whitaker, she was pressed on foreign policy, immigration,

There were a couple interesting moments that caught our ear.

For one, she shared a little bit more about that gun she owns.

shot it at a shooting range. Second, she offered her most detailed explanation of her transformation

on issues ranging from fracking to border crossing to health care. She's previously said,
