North London on October 6, 1985. That day, the family of Cynthia Jarrett met with police to protest a horrific family tragedy.

The previous night, a squad of policemen barged into Jarrett's home unannounced.

They wrongly suspected her son of stealing something, and the consequences were dire.

Shocked by the sudden invasion,
