| 1:37.7 | people known to have died from COVID-19 has crossed one million worldwide. And |
| 1:42.7 | that is probably a low figure. An analysis by the economist magazine indicates |
| 1:47.5 | there may be as many as a million more uncounted deaths. It finds that the |
| 1:52.2 | true count in America is probably not 200,000 dead, but more like 300,000, which |
| 1:58.9 | means that the country has lost as many people to COVID in the last eight months |
| 2:03.5 | as it did in the four years of combat during World War II. And we are not |
