Welcome to Hanson-McClain's Money Matters. I'm Scott Hanson.

I'm Pat McLean. Thanks for joining us this weekend.

That's right. Glad you were here with us on this first weekend in October, both myself and my co-host here.

We're both financial advisors, certified financial planner, charter financial consultant.

We spend our weekdays meeting with people like yourself, come here on the weekends to be your financial

advisors on the air. And if you've listened to us for any length of time, we've been doing this

for 20 years, if you've listened to us for any length of time, you'll find that we are more

than just financial advisors. We really, part of our specialty is helping people as they navigate

through retirement, the issues that they have to face as they approach retirement

and the whole transition into retirement.

And we're actually going to spend a little time in this program

talking about some of those issues that...

And, you know, we've talked a little bit about it on this show

over the last few years,

but it really came to light when I was meeting with a client this last week,

and they were just telling me about how they felt when they retired five years ago
