We're not sure what the president expected to happen, but close-ups of his face during the crowd's

reaction as his name was called in the PA show a smile hardening into a slight scowl.

How will he react today?

It's a sign of the president's isolation that he only

took his staunchest Republican allies with him to the game, along with the First Lady.

Nat's Park is perhaps one of the only gathering places in town that draws Republicans and Democrats

in equal measure, but his box was all red. In the president's box, Mitch McConnell, Lindsey Graham,

David Purdue, Kevin McCarthy, Liz Cheney, Mark Meadows, Andy Biggs, Mack Thorneberry, John Rackcliffe, Kevin Brady, and Matt Gates.

That said he was under no obligation to notify Nancy Pelosi ahead of the Bogdadi raid, but telling her and other top Democrats would have bought a huge chunk of goodwill.

Pelosi, a former top Democrat on the

Intelligence Committee, has been entrusted with state secrets for decades. There's approximately

zero percent chance she would have dialed up a reporter to leak the plans. The EU has agreed on

an extension for Brexit as Boris Johnson looks to trigger a UK election. That per the F.T.

The extension brings the deadline to the end of January 2020. Katie Hill has resigned, according to John Bresdenhan, Heather Kagle, and Kyle Cheney.

This comes after allegations of inappropriate sexual relationships with staffers.
