Hey, we've got a brand new guest who's never been on the Paracast before,

and Katina Kyle will be joining us in a

moment but randall and i wanted to talk a bit about brent reins and his book about john keel

and the thing that's kind of grabbed me where he's talking about possibly communicating

with john keel in the afterlife.

What was your take on that, Randall?

I really like Brent Raines.

He actually is a very level-headed person when you talk to him in person on the radio about his investigations.

He comes across to me as someone who's been very understated, might be the best term to use in the whole paranormal community. He's been at it for a long time. He's very well versed

at it. He's a virtual walking encyclopedia of knowledge. So I found it to be a really pleasant interview. Now, he has some

recordings on his site, supposedly, I guess, messages from Keel. Now, the funny thing about it,

and I haven't heard the recordings, and I think our listeners should go to his site and check

them out, that John Keel seemed to be the opposite, totally opposite person

who would even believe in it. And of course, he knew a lot more about Keel. He's specializing

in it as an author of writing and researching about him. And what I found was really

interesting with Brent is that he was open to the idea that

although these experiences happen with people and phenomena such as EVP do occur, we could

be looking at an explanation that is something other than what people might want to believe it
