Veteran UFO researcher/author Kevin D. Randle returns to talk with Gene and cohost Tim Swartz about his latest book, “Understanding Roswell,” and whether there’s anything more to learn about that 1947 incident, the status of the evidence that’s come forth through the years, and whether there’s anything left to discover. He’ll also bring us up to date and the current status of the UFO field. Within the UFO community, Randle is often regarded as one of the preeminent experts on the reported crash of a UFO near Roswell, New Mexico in July 1947. He is a professional best-selling author with over 100 books to his name. He has a Ph.D. in psychology and was in the United States Air Force and the National Guard, where he held the rank of Lieutenant Colonel before retiring in 2009.

1:18.8	And with Kevin here, an expert on our Roswell, the, was it, Virginia case in Brazil?
1:27.2	Do you think it's comparable to Roswell at all?
1:31.0	No, I think it's completely different.
1:33.4	Roswell was a crash.
1:34.8	This really wasn't a crash.
1:35.9	It was something else, and there were live aliens running around and that sort of thing.
1:39.6	So in that respect, I don't think it's comparable.
1:41.5	It might be in a very important case.
1:42.9	I'm not saying it's not.
1:44.5	I'm really saying it's not comparable to Roswell given the circumstances and the evidence available.
1:50.3	So what's your take on that incident? Have you looked into it very much at all or what?
