We always ask a listener a question. We're going to talk about doubt today, ask a question about it. I love the Honesty Cafe. Yeah, the burnt toast is so good. Everything you could ever want is in here. And I even love how they let little animals run around, like little parrots and woodland creatures, woodchucks. No, this is new. Small squirrels. I don't know I would have agreed to be here. It's like a little interactive petting zoo, but that's just one awesome thing about this cafe. Plus, great topics like doubt. So Cindy is with us. Do you struggle with doubt? What'd you say? I mean, be honest. Hence the honesty cafe. I do struggle with doubt. Maybe fear. Let me ask you about the fear thing. What do you mean? Perhaps this horrible thing is going to happen.

And that fear kind of just needles at me, and it just plays into my doubt.

Your doubt is that God's going to come through for you.

You worry.

Is that what you're saying?

Yes.

Okay.

Ultimately. And you doubt him. Well, I can't say it for you. I'll say I understand from my

perspective, you, you doubt him because your mind already goes to, my mind will go to the worst case

scenario. Or the other, if something's good right now, the other shoe's going to drop and it's about to be horrible.

Absolutely. And so I don't ever really get to enjoy him because it's always me looking around the corner.

So why do you reckon you're fearful when you know better? Like you don't, you struggle with trusting God. Why do you suppose that is?
