Summary

In episode 272 astrologers Kelly Surtees, Austin Coppock, and Chris Brennan look at the astrological forecast for October of 2020. The forecast for October features Mars retrograde in Aries squaring Saturn, Pluto, and Jupiter, as well as a Mercury retrograde station opposite Uranus, and a Full Moon conjunct Uranus. With all of the Uranus and Mercury retrograde signatures, our working title for this month is October Surprise. 0:00.0	Hi, my name is Chris Brennan, and you're listening to the astrology podcast. In this episode I'm going to be talking with Austin Koppec and Kelly Surtees about the astrological forecast for October of 2020.
0:11.0	Hey guys, welcome to the show. Hey! All right, we have got a jam-packed
0:18.0	show, we've got a lot to talk about for October. It was a little bit of a continuation
0:21.9	of some of the themes from last month with the Mars
0:25.2	retrograde and all, but we also have a lot of unique sort of configurations with Mercury
0:31.4	retrograde, Full Moon's conjunct Uranus, and lots of other stuff.
0:36.0	So let's go ahead and jump right into it, starting with the animation for the month. So as always, Paula Bello Meene does our calendars each month, she's
0:49.3	their illustrator, and this month Hugh Tran animated the movement's calendar just to show us where the planets will start at the beginning of the month and where they will end up by the end of the month.
1:00.0	So we go into the month, of with the Mars Saturn Square between Mars and
1:06.2	late Aries and Saturn and Lake Capricorn being very exact and actually going
1:11.1	exact on September 29th.
1:13.0	Later in the month, one of the main things that happens in October is Mercury Stations
1:18.1	Retrograde and Scorpio, opposite to Uranus.
1:20.7	We've also got lunations this month in various signs which I'll get into next, but that's
1:27.9	kind of the movements of where the planets start and where they end by the very end of the month.
1:34.0	The other animation I wanted to share was showing the calendar just with some specific dates.
1:42.0	So let me see where my dates calendar is.
1:47.0	Ah, there it is.
1:50.0	All right, so in the month of October, we start out with a full moon in Aries.
1:59.4	That's actually the first full moon of this month.
2:01.9	Shortly after that, Venus moves into Virgo on the 2nd of October. Then
2:06.2	Pluto stations direct on the 4th of October, it's the 3rd of 3 planets stationing
