So Oprah was on the show with Stephen Colbert the other night, and they were talking about their favorite verses from the Bible, which is interesting. Colbert picked where Jesus says, don't worry, and I do love that verse as well.

Oprah picked something from the Old Testament from Psalms, where it says, delight yourself in the

Lord, and he'll give you the desires of your heart. And then she said something, which is so

interesting to me because I run across this with a lot of different people. And I think this is such a

big issue that never gets talked about. She said, delight yourself in the Lord. Well, what does that mean?

Well, the Lord can mean compassion or doing good things. She talked about karma, the Golden Rule. That's

what the Lord can mean, all these subjects. And that's not the lord can mean all these subjects and that's not true i mean in in the

the text that's written there to jewish people god had a name he was personal and is personal

and he's distinct from me he's to say the lord can mean compassion like that's

no no no no he's specific yes he is love he is compassion he is all these things but he's personal

and separate from me that's a lot of the stuff that i run into in different from different belief

systems they will say no i but i agree with christ Christianity, but they basically don't want to say that God is separate from us. But he's got a name, and he revealed it to Abraham, and he revealed it to us, and he is separate. And I think it's wonderful, because some people are straining to find God and

they want him to be personal and they can't come close to him because they don't know who

he is and to be able to say no it's not just a force it's not an impersonal spiritual

vibration it's better than that a spiritual vibration out in the universe that's cold

but to say it's a person I think we're all yearning for a person.

Just talking about Oprah, she was talking about her favorite verse on a Stephen Colbert show

and said it's, delight yourself in the Lord.

This is from Psalms.

Delight yourself in the Lord, and he'll give you the desires of your heart.

She was saying that the Lord can mean any number of things like delight delight yourself in compassion, or delight yourself in this or that, or who you are. Like, no, actually, the Lord means a specific being. And I think that's really good news, actually. I got friends who I love dearly, and they believe in vibrations in the universe that teach us things and we can give information to the universe
